Our client, a dynamic organisation in the utilities industry, is seeking DCO Operations Technicians to join their Asset Protection team. If you are passionate about ensuring the safe and compliant management of third-party activities impacting gas assets, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:- Review and advise on third-party proposals affecting National Gas assets.
- Foster relationships with developers of large-scale projects in proximity to our client’s assets.
- Influence the design of diversionary or connection works to mitigate planning constraints.
- Manage external suppliers to safeguard gas assets and interests.
- Coordinate responses across engineering, legal, and operational teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Experience: Proven track record in managing project portfolios and collaborating within multidisciplinary teams.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with pipeline maintenance, engineering principles, and consenting regimes, including DCOs and CPOs.
- Negotiation Skills: Ability to navigate complex stakeholder relationships, balancing diverse objectives.
- Attention to Detail: Ensure high-quality data accuracy and documentation to support engineering decisions.
