Our client is seeking a dedicated Regulatory Communications Analyst to join their team on a Fixed Term Contract.

Position Details:

  • Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract
  • Daily Rate: £450 - £750 per day
  • Start Date: May 4, 2026
  • End Date: March 31, 2027
  • Working Pattern: Full-Time

Role Overview:

As a Regulatory Communications Analyst, you will play a key role in tracking and analyzing regulatory communications across EMEA regulators. You will ensure compliance with trade and transaction reporting regulations, including the Securities Financing Transaction Regulation (SFTR). Your contributions will be vital in maintaining our client’s regulatory standing and enhancing operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Regulatory Tracking: Monitor and analyze updates from EMEA regulators to ensure compliance with SFTR requirements.
  • Collaboration with SMEs: Work alongside subject matter experts to build and document technical business requirements that support new regulations and improve efficiency.
  • Reconciliation Analysis: Utilize the DUCO tool to run and analyze reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and completeness for SFTR.
  • Tool Customization: Learn to build and customize reconciliations in DUCO to address identified control gaps.
  • Team Communication: Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to gain consensus and implement necessary changes within specified quality parameters.
  • Impact Assessment: Ensure business plans and control processes are detailed and evaluate the potential impact of changes, including maintaining a traceability matrix.
  • Timely Execution: Engage with appropriate teams to run timely reconciliations, assess impacts, and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Present issues and remediation plans to senior stakeholders across Compliance, Ops, Tech, and Vendors.
  • Continuous Improvement: Resolve identified issues, enhance reconciliation scopes, test controls, and share management information across governance groups.

Required Expertise:

  • Extensive knowledge of trade and transaction reporting regulations.
  • Proven ability to run, build, and analyze reconciliations.
  • Experience in analyzing quality assurance reports and quantifying impacts.
  • Ability to support business-as-usual submissions, exception reviews, and client queries as needed.
