We’re looking for an experienced property lawyer to join our team in Stockport. This opportunity suits someone with several years of handling residential files who is keen to continue developing their career in a supportive environment. You’ll oversee your own portfolio of matters from initial instruction to final completion, assisted by an allocated team member.

Main Duties

  • Managing a varied workload of home‑moving transactions such as shared ownership matters, newly built properties, re-mortgages, equity transfers, adverse possession issues, and part‑transfer arrangements.
  • Running files autonomously from opening through to post‑completion.
  • Keeping clear, timely communication with clients, developers, other legal representatives, and all parties involved to maintain progress throughout the transaction.

  • At least three years of independently managing a pipeline of residential property matters.
  • Excellent organisational ability, including managing deadlines and balancing competing tasks.
  • Strong working knowledge of residential conveyancing processes.
  • Familiarity with case management software; experience with P4W is an advantage.
