Our market-leading tank technology and environmental solutions client is seeking a motivated, detail-focused Junior Office Administrator to join their team based in Longfield. This role offers a fantastic entry point into a global business environment, providing the opportunity to gain diverse administrative experience while contributing to a team focused on environmental protection.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the office and providing administrative backup to the wider team. We are looking for a proactive person who enjoys a variety of tasks and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Open, sort, and distribute incoming post and invoices in a timely manner.
- Manage and maintain office utilities, including phones, printers, internet, and water services.
- Monitor and replenish office supplies to ensure the workspace remains fully functional and professional.
- Act as a central point of contact for office-related enquiries and internal communications.
- Maintain and organise physical and digital filing systems to ensure data integrity and easy retrieval.
- Assist with the coordination of team schedules and internal meetings.
- Arrange flights, accommodation, and visas for team members travelling for project or site-based work.
- Coordinate company vehicle administration, including compliance checks, insurance renewals, and general upkeep.
- Follow up on labour hour approvals in line with project schedules and internal requirements.
- Undertake ad-hoc tasks as required to ensure the team meets its regional objectives.
- A strong “can-do” attitude and a willingness to learn; prior experience is welcome but not essential.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative international team.
- Reliability and flexibility to be in the office on structured days (Tuesday and Wednesday), with the ability to come in on other days if required.
- Analytical mindset and uses a methodological approach to complete tasks.
- Resilient, confident, professional, and able to work effectively with multiple teams.
