The Program Team Lead plays a critical leadership role within a contingent workforce or talent management program. This position is responsible for guiding day-to-day operations, supporting client stakeholders, mentoring team members, managing requisition activities through Vendor Management Systems (VMS), and ensuring adherence to service level agreements (SLAs), compliance standards, and overall program success.

The ideal candidate has a background in workforce solutions, procurement, recruitment, or vendor management, and demonstrates strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills. The role demands strategic thinking and operational excellence, with a focus on continuous improvement, stakeholder satisfaction, and cross‑functional collaboration.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead and manage a team of program coordinators, consultants, or specialists, ensuring effective execution of responsibilities and achievement of SLA targets.
  • Provide coaching, performance feedback, and training to team members to foster a high performance, team‑oriented culture.
  • Monitor daily team operations to ensure efficient, accurate, and compliant service delivery.
  • Support staff onboarding, scheduling, and resource planning in alignment with business needs.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for client stakeholders and internal users, offering resolution guidance for complex or sensitive issues.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with client hiring managers to understand their workforce needs and provide consultative support.
  • Participate in client meetings, business reviews, and ongoing program alignment discussions to ensure satisfaction and performance.
  • Oversee all stages of requisition activity and candidate lifecycle using VMS tools (e.g., Fieldglass, Beeline).
  • Review, vet, and shortlist candidate submissions to ensure qualified talent is presented to hiring managers in a timely manner.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with established policies, procedures, and program guidelines.
  • Identify process inefficiencies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and SOP updates.
  • Partner with supplier/vendor communities to ensure alignment with program expectations regarding candidate quality, onboarding, and performance.
  • Ensure vendors comply with rate structures, requisition requirements, and onboarding/offboarding procedures.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and contribute to data‑driven vendor management strategies.
  • Generate, interpret, and present regular and ad‑hoc reports to clients and internal leadership, including program performance metrics, cost savings, and compliance summaries.
  • Leverage insights to influence decision‑making and drive program enhancements.
  • Support audits and ensure accuracy of data within the VMS and related platforms.
  • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

About you:

Education & Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Human Resources, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years in a workforce solutions, MSP, recruitment, or procurement environment.
  • At least 1‑2 years in a team lead or supervisory role.
  • Experience with Vendor Management Systems (e.g., Beeline, Fieldglass) required.
  • Familiarity with Statement of Work (SOW) engagements is a plus.

  • Skilled in communicating effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Fluent level of English.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Strong customer service orientation and client relationship management.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable conclusions.
  • Detail‑oriented with exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work independently under minimal supervision and meet deadlines.
  • Experience in recruiting and talent lifecycle management is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of rate structures, employment classifications, and workforce compliance.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
