As a Director Corporate Development and M&A you will collaborate with the Adecco Group leadership team and the Head of Corporate Development and M&A to execute M&A transactions and run corporate development initiatives. You will support the project pipeline development, including managing key external relationships (e.g., investment banks and other channels). You will assist in the evaluation and execution of new market entry opportunities, partnerships/alliances, acquisitions, mergers, divestments/spin-offs and joint ventures, and will be a key partner of senior management.
What you’ll be doing
- Collaborate with the Global Business Units, Group CFO and Corporate Strategy teams in the translation of business strategy into Corporate Development and M&A objectives.
- Support the growth strategy through identification, assessment and execution of potential mergers, acquisitions, market entries and joint ventures as well as divestitures by the company.
- Build relationships with each Global Business Unit and within the Finance organization to maintain an ongoing project pipeline that is aligned with the business and corporate objectives.
- Assist in driving relationships with investment banking firms and strategic consultants.
- Partner with business leaders and key stakeholders before, during and after the M&A processes, to ensure the deals make strategic sense, fit with the forward-looking business plans, and are integrated smoothly and fully optimized.
- Support all M&A activities and provide general transaction and analytical support, including the creation of valuations, deal summaries, and presentation materials as well as working with the Legal function to review transaction contractual documents.
- Lead cross-functional project teams for acquisitions and divestitures.

About you
- Master Degree in Finance or equivalent.
- 5-10 years of relevant experience in Corporate Development, Corporate Finance, Strategy, Business Development or M&A at a large global Corporation with experience working in Investment Banking or Strategy Consulting.
- Experience working in a demanding environment with highly motivated and driven professionals. Having lived and worked abroad is a plus.
- English required, second language a strong plus (French / German / Spanish / others).
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects autonomously with multiple workstreams.
- Advanced analytical, financial modelling and problem-solving skills, with proven intellectual and analytical rigor.
- Ability to structure and lead complex cross-enterprise projects and processes with multiple partners at both senior and junior levels.
- Excellent presentation skills, including strong oral and writing capabilities; ability to clearly communicate compelling messages to senior management and external business partners.
- Strong leadership skills with an inclusive and collaborative approach to work.
