Job title: Junior Network Analyst
Location: Warwick
Salary: ÂŁ34,000 to ÂŁ38,000 plus 5% annual bonus
Contract: 6-12-month Fixed term contract
Hybrid working (2 days based in Warwick, 3 days from home)
Our client a leading energy provider in the Warwick area has a requirement for a Junior Network Analyst to join their team in an exciting and vital transformation period, bringing energy to life.
You will be aspiring to be a Network Analyst where you be responsible for delivering gas network simulation and modelling analysis to ensure the gas transmission system continues to transport energy to our customers safely and reliably across a range of timescales.
The successful candidate will undertake extensive training as part of this role; this will include classroom training for 2 days a week and then project work with senior analysts.
Key Accountabilities:
Deliver simulation of the gas national transmission system to deliver a range of business requirements including:
- The development of operational strategies to ensure that safety is maintained, and customer requirements are met.
- The development of operational strategies to deliver access to the network to facilitate maintenance activities, both planned and unplanned.
- The application of industry-agreed processes to assess and facilitate connections to the network.
- The development of net zero strategies of a hydrogen network including the repurposing of national transmission system assets.
Skills/Experience:
- Educated to degree level, ideally in a STEM subject (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics)
- An analytical mindset with a methodical approach to accomplishing tasks.
- Have high personal standards of work and attention to detail.
- Coding experience using Python would be advantageous
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
