Contract Details:
- Position: Investigating Officer
- Contract Type: Temporary
- Working Pattern: Full Time (36 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM)
- Salary: £17.70 per hour
What You’ll Do:
As an Investigating Officer, you will play a crucial role in the investigation process. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting thorough enquiries, including statement taking and exhibit handling.
- Interviewing witnesses and suspects using effective techniques to gather vital information.
- Preparing court files and managing case files to ensure an accurate audit trail.
- Completing risk assessments and developing victim support plans to ensure their safety and wellbeing.
- Collaborating with colleagues to gather evidence and turn material into actionable intelligence.
- Attending court as the Officer in Charge (OIC) for PIP 1 investigations.
- Managing safeguarding concerns related to vulnerable individuals.
