We’re looking for an experienced & proactive Health & Safety Coordinator to join a busy manufacturing site and play a key role in maintaining and improving safety standards across the operation. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands-on, working closely with teams on the ground, and driving a strong safety culture.

In this role, you’ll support the day-to-day delivery of health & safety across site, ensuring compliance with legislation while actively identifying opportunities to reduce risk and improve performance. You’ll be involved in everything from audits and inspections to training and incident investigations—making a real impact on workplace safety.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Ensuring compliance with health & safety legislation and internal standards
  • Supporting and maintaining H&S systems aligned to ISO 45001
  • Carrying out site inspections and following up on actions
  • Assisting with risk assessments and safe systems of work
  • Investigating incidents and supporting preventative actions
  • Monitoring trends and identifying areas for improvement
  • Delivering and coordinating safety training
  • Promoting a positive, proactive safety culture across site
  • Supporting internal and external audits
  • Producing reports on safety performance and KPIs

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in a Health & Safety role (manufacturing or similar environment preferred)
  • NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent
  • Experience working with ISO 45001 or integrated management systems
  • Understanding of UK/ROI health & safety legislation
  • Experience supporting audits and inspections
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Confident using Microsoft Office
  • Ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
