As Communications Business Partner for the HR function, you will take end-to-end ownership of strategic communications for the function and act as the trusted communications advisor to the CHRO and the HR leadership team. You will proactively shape communication strategies, advise decisively, and orchestrate execution in close collaboration with Group Communications colleagues and centres of expertise.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Develop and implement the HR communications strategy aligned to the priorities of the function and broader company strategy.
  • Act as the primary communications advisor to the CHRO and HR leadership team, providing proactive counsel on narrative, messaging, timing and risk.
  • Anticipate business priorities and translate them into clear, employee-relevant communications that strengthen engagement and support change.
  • Lead key communication initiatives within the function, including executive messaging, leadership forums and town halls.
  • Support large-scale organisational change programmes with effective change communications planning and alignment with Group Communications priorities.
  • Collaborate closely with the rest of the Internal Engagement team and Global Business Units (GBUs) internal communications partners to activate communications effectively and to continuously improve impact through insights.
  • Partner with the Thought Leadership team to support external executive positioning.
  • Work with External Communications, Public Relations and other centres of expertise to align internal and external messaging where relevant.
  • Build the reputation of Group Communications as a trusted partner to the business through strategic orientation, high quality and reliable delivery.
About you:
  • University degree in Communication, Journalism, Politics, PR or similar field.
  • 10+ years’ experience in communications roles within an international corporate environment.
  • Demonstrated experience owning and delivering internal communication strategies in a complex, global and matrix organisation.
  • Strong track record supporting transformation and change programmes.
  • Proven experience working closely with C-suite / Executive Committee leaders.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Strategic communicator with strong influencing skills and sound judgement.
  • Proactive advisor who anticipates needs and takes ownership end-to-end.
  • Confident partner to senior stakeholders; comfortable challenging constructively.
  • Collaborative and effective in a matrix organisation.
  • Outstanding writer with strong project and stakeholder management skills.
  • Reliable under pressure, with high standards and strong follow-through.
  • Change agent with infectious enthusiasm and impact.
