About the role

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Recruitment Administrator to support a major Armed Forces recruitment programme.

In this role, you’ll report to the Team Leader and provide effective administrative and co-ordination support throughout key stages of the recruitment process.

Some of the key tasks include booking travel and allocating candidates to required training events as part of their recruitment journey.

You’ll also be responsible for other related administration to support the wider recruitment team.

This is a fast-paced administration position where accuracy and strong attention to detail are essential.

  • What you’ll be doing
  • Create candidate events on the recruitment platform.
  • Load and allocate candidates to appropriate events, ensuring they are booked onto the correct training at the appropriate stage of the recruitment process.
  • Issue relevant joining instructions to ensure candidates have received the appropriate information, direction and support ahead of their event.
  • Maintain and update information trackers.
  • Arrange travel and accommodation requests for candidates who require support.
  • Support the reduction of candidate non-attendance by proactively managing candidate allocation, capacity and available spaces.
  • Working to SLAs in a high-volume environment.

About you

  • Previous experience in an administrative or co-ordination role.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Experience working with recruitment booking systems (advantageous).
  • Background in or connection with or to the Armed Forces (advantageous)

Contracted hours will be 37.5 a week but requires flexibility to undertake occasional weekend work.
