The Role: Assistant Food & Beverage Manager
The Address Hotel Glasgow is seeking an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager in . You will work closely with the Food and Beverage Manager/Head Chef to ensure the smooth operation of all Food & Beverage outlets and manage the team members and standards across your departments
Responsible for: Responsible for the operations of all Food & Beverage Outlets while maintaining standards of food, beverage and service specifications.
Job Description

  • To ensure smooth and efficient management of all Food & Beverage outlets including North Bar and Restaurant, Breakfast and Events.
  • To ensure the Food & Beverage team delivers the highest standards of luxury and quality to our guests in a consistent way.
  • To ensure reservations for the assigned Food & Beverage outlets are managed correctly and to liaise with all relevant departments with regard to special requests.
  • To ensure that the service area of responsibility is clean and well-maintained (both front & back of house).
  • To attend meetings as required.
  • To ensure there is management presence at peak service times
  • To assist all Food & Beverage outlets when required alongside Food and Beverage Manager.
  • To ensure guest feedback is acted upon in a timely manner, ensuring the relevant people are informed and that all necessary action is taken to prevent re-occurrences.
  • To accept a flexible work schedule necessary for uninterrupted service to Hotel guests and to maintain flexibility within teams.
  • To provide support where necessary in other areas of the Hotel, covering Duty Manager shifts where needed.
  • To create a market-leading environment through product, people & profit.
  • To assist in the recruitment and selection of F&B team members.
  • To manage the timekeeping system for relevant departments.
  • To help the Food and Beverage Manager with orders and stock management
  • Menu and Cocktail creation
  • To comply with the hotel\'s cash handling procedures and ensure that all team members are trained accordingly.
  • To ensure departmental sales are achieved in line with the hotel budget.
  • To maintain beverage cost within the budgeted targets.
  • To maintain payroll in line with forecasted & budgeted targets.
  • Health and Safety with food and beverage areas
