About the Role
The Sales and Events Manager is responsible for developing new business opportunities, particularly in the Corporate and Conference Bedroom market, as well as the local leisure sector. This role also involves driving event sales, including private celebrations, corporate gatherings, and bespoke functions tailored to client needs.
Responsibilities
- Achieve sales targets for Corporate Rooms, Conference Rooms, Meeting & Events, and Food & Beverage.
- Develop and implement the hotel’s annual sales activity plan.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, ensuring growth in both the corporate and leisure sectors.
- Promote and manage private event bookings, including weddings, celebrations, and corporate functions.
- Ensure seamless coordination of event logistics, working closely with operations and catering teams.
- Maintain high service standards and provide personalized experiences for private event clients.
- Drive the hotel’s sales through various channels, including direct outreach and marketing campaigns.
- Conduct site inspections and promotional activities to showcase event spaces.
- Oversee the hotel’s CRM system and database marketing efforts.
