A leading Group insurer is looking for a Senior Actuarial Manager to join their Capital team. This is a unique opportunity to combine technical expertise with strategic influence, shaping capital frameworks and key initiatives that impact the business.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and maintain the capital management framework and recovery plans.
  • Drive capital strategy reviews, model baselining, and key optimisation projects.
  • Analyse regulatory developments and prepare Board-level reporting.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders across the business, including Group-level leadership.
  • Coach and develop actuarial students and newly qualified actuaries.

About You

  • Qualified actuary with 3–5 years post-qualification experience.
  • Strong knowledge of capital, Solvency II, internal models, and matching adjustment.
  • Excellent communicator, confident explaining complex concepts to non-actuaries.
  • Collaborative, adaptable, and enjoys working in a high-impact, smaller team.
