A leading life insurer is looking for a Senior Actuarial Analyst to join their Advanced Analytics & Insights team. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct analytics projects leveraging proprietary datasets to generate actionable insights for underwriting, pricing, and risk management.
  • Develop, validate, and refine predictive models, turning complex results into clear recommendations for stakeholders.
  • Investigate new data sources and analytical methods to enhance decision‑making across Protection and Longevity.
  • Work closely with internal teams and external partners to apply analytical outputs effectively in business processes.
  • Use Python, R, SQL, or similar tools to perform rigorous, reproducible analysis and maintain high‑quality data standards.

Experience & Skills

  • Part‑qualified actuarial student, progressing toward FIA or equivalent.
  • 2–5 years’ experience in actuarial, analytics, or related roles, ideally in pricing, underwriting, or research‑focused environments.
  • Proficient in statistical modelling, predictive analytics, and data science tools; familiarity with insurance risk frameworks is advantageous.
  • Strong communicator, able to explain complex analytical ideas to non‑technical audiences.
  • Self‑motivated, adaptable, and comfortable as a specialist contributor in a collaborative team environment.
