Risk Manager

We are working with a specialty re-insurer to recruit a Risk Manager to support their Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) function. Reporting directly to the Head of ERM, this role will play a key part in identifying, assessing, and reporting critical risks across the business. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Assist the Head of ERM in maintaining and enhancing the Enterprise Risk Management Framework to ensure robust risk oversight.
2. Support the drafting of high-quality risk reports, including ORSAs and CRO reports, for the Executive and Board Risk Committee.
3. Lead the coordination and facilitation of Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSAs) across various business areas, ensuring risks and key controls are effectively evaluated and documented.
4. Work closely with key departments such as Underwriting, Claims, Finance, Actuarial, Compliance, and Operations to integrate ERM tools, processes, and initiatives.
5. Drive the ongoing enhancement of the Risk Management Framework, identifying and implementing process improvements.
