Fantastic opportunity for an experienced actuary to join a leading global reinsurer's Protection Pricing team in a visible and influential manager role. You'll lead and develop junior team members, oversee pricing delivery, and help drive improvements across tools, modelling and assumptions.

What you'll be doing:

  • Lead and review pricing work across Protection products
  • Support quotes, pricing assumptions, experience studies and treaty performance
  • Work closely with internal partners and senior stakeholders
  • Contribute to new propositions and commercial negotiations
  • Help improve models, processes and pricing capability
  • Line manage, coach and develop other team members

What we're looking for:

  • Qualified Actuary with solid Protection experience (income protection, CI, terminal illness or similar)
  • Strong pricing background; reinsurance experience a bonus but not essential
  • Comfortable explaining complex concepts to varied audiences
  • Collaborative leader who enjoys developing others
  • Strong analytical judgement and ability to balance commercial and risk considerations
  • Skilled in Excel; experience with R, Python, VBA or Power BI beneficial
