Fantastic opportunity for an experienced actuary to join a leading global reinsurer's Protection Pricing team in a visible and influential manager role. You'll lead and develop junior team members, oversee pricing delivery, and help drive improvements across tools, modelling and assumptions.
What you'll be doing:
- Lead and review pricing work across Protection products
- Support quotes, pricing assumptions, experience studies and treaty performance
- Work closely with internal partners and senior stakeholders
- Contribute to new propositions and commercial negotiations
- Help improve models, processes and pricing capability
- Line manage, coach and develop other team members
What we're looking for:
- Qualified Actuary with solid Protection experience (income protection, CI, terminal illness or similar)
- Strong pricing background; reinsurance experience a bonus but not essential
- Comfortable explaining complex concepts to varied audiences
- Collaborative leader who enjoys developing others
- Strong analytical judgement and ability to balance commercial and risk considerations
- Skilled in Excel; experience with R, Python, VBA or Power BI beneficial
