We're working with a major global P&C insurer on a senior hire within their Casualty pricing team.

This is a broad, highly visible pricing role with responsibility for a c.$600m+ portfolio, working directly with senior Casualty underwriters to help drive portfolio performance and influence underwriting strategy.

Rather than being purely focused on individual account pricing, the role gives you exposure across portfolio management, case pricing, planning, exposure rating, reinsurance and wider strategic projects.

You'll be responsible for identifying trends across the portfolio, translating those into actionable recommendations and working closely with underwriting leadership on how the book should develop.

There is also genuine involvement in business planning and the wider capital model.

The position comes with leadership responsibility for an analyst, alongside coordinating work across a broader offshore analyst team.

We're looking for a qualified actuary with strong commercial or specialty pricing experience, ideally with exposure to Casualty or other long-tail classes.

Strong portfolio management and stakeholder skills are particularly important.

This is a great option for someone who wants to move beyond being a purely technical pricing actuary and take on more ownership, underwriting exposure and influence over a sizeable portfolio.
