You'll play a pivotal role in establishing the underwriting strategy, developing key broker relationships and contributing to the long-term growth of a dynamic international business.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, underwrite and manage a profitable portfolio of proportional treaty business across a broad range of Personal Lines, Commercial and Specialty classes (excluding Motor and Health).
- Build and strengthen long-term relationships with London Market brokers, cedants and key market stakeholders.
- Analyse treaty submissions, assess portfolio performance and make commercially sound underwriting decisions.
- Negotiate treaty structures, pricing, commissions and contractual terms.
- Monitor portfolio profitability and recommend underwriting actions where appropriate.
- Collaborate closely with Actuarial, Finance and Risk teams to ensure robust portfolio management and reporting.
- Contribute to underwriting strategy, market expansion and long-term business growth.
About You
- 8+ years\' experience underwriting proportional treaty reinsurance within a reinsurer, Lloyd\'s syndicate or international insurance group.
- Strong technical knowledge across multiple treaty classes, including Property, Casualty, Marine, Travel, Financial Lines or other Specialty business.
- Demonstrable experience developing and managing profitable treaty portfolios.
- Established broker relationships within the London Market and the ability to generate new business opportunities.
- Strong analytical skills with experience assessing pricing adequacy, portfolio performance and underwriting profitability.
- Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative international team.
