A leading international (re)insurance business is seeking an experienced capital modelling professional to lead capital modelling activity across multiple regulated entities, including Lloyd’s and European operations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ownership of internal models
- SCR production
- Validation reporting
- Solvency II and Lloyd’s compliance
- ORSA support
- Stress testing and capital forecasting
- Overseeing outsourced providers
- Managing capital modelling resources
- Supporting senior management, regulators, rating agencies and external capital providers on capital-related matters
Candidates should have significant capital modelling experience within the Lloyd’s or wider insurance market, strong knowledge of Solvency II and internal model governance, and experience managing teams and external providers. Exposure to multiple entities, international regulatory environments and capital modelling platforms such as Igloo would be advantageous. Strong stakeholder management, communication and organisational skills are essential.
