Are you a qualified, commercially-focused GI actuary with demonstrable experience of interacting with both underwriting and reserving teams? Then this is an exciting opportunity to join a specialist, data-driven insurer where you will take the lead on the portfolio analytics strategy and roadmap.
In this key and highly collaborative role, you will lead the design, delivery and embedding of pricing and analytics visualisation dashboard suites and other analytics tools to drive underwriting performance. You will work closely with underwriters, pricing actuaries, the reserving team and IT to ensure all processes, models and analytics tools are as efficient as possible to ensure and strengthen dynamic and productive business performance.
With Lloyd’s/London Market Experience, the successful candidate will possess strong problem-solving and project management skills. You will also possess strong technical, visualisation and communication skills as well as good Data Governance experience. In addition, you will have experience of building pricing models and an understanding of reserving techniques. Experience with Python, hx (or other pricing platforms), Power BI and/or Databricks would be beneficial.
