We are partnering with a leading provider in the pension risk transfer market looking to hire a Pensions Calculations Actuary to join a specialist onboarding team.
This is a technical and project-focused role where you will
- Provide expertise on complex defined benefit pension calculations
- Review and produce member quotations and benefit calculations
- Act as a subject matter expert on DB pension scheme structures and legislation
- Lead process improvement and operational enhancement projects
- Support, coach and develop junior team members
- Work closely with stakeholders across pensions operations and client services
About You
- Qualified actuary
- Strong DB pensions experience, ideally with a pensions administration or calculations background
- Detailed understanding of DB pension scheme benefits and regulations
- Experience handling complex member calculations and technical queries
- Strong communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working in a technical leadership capacity
