About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to help shape the next generation of data applications within our Data & Analytics function.
As our technology stack evolves, we're moving beyond traditional reporting solutions and investing in modern, interactive applications built on the Databricks platform.
This role will play a key part in establishing our front-end application capability, building scalable solutions, and defining engineering best practices.
You'll work closely with data engineers, analytics teams, architects, and business stakeholders to design and develop enterprise-grade applications that enable users to interact with data in new and innovative ways.
This is an opportunity to influence technical direction, establish standards, and help build a modern application development capability from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain modern front-end applications built on the Databricks platform.
- Build full stack solutions that integrate seamlessly with enterprise data platforms and APIs.
- Develop intuitive, responsive user interfaces for data-driven applications.
- Work closely with backend developers, data engineers and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Champion engineering best practices across application architecture, testing, security and deployment.
- Help define governance and development standards for front-end applications within an enterprise environment.
- Review code, mentor developers and contribute to technical decision-making.
- Ensure applications are scalable, secure and maintainable.
- Participate in solution design, technical planning and architecture discussions.
- Support CI/CD processes and modern software engineering practices.
- Required Skills & Experience
Essential
- Extensive experience as a Full Stack Developer with a strong front-end focus.
- Expert knowledge of Java Script/Type Script.

- Experience building enterprise web applications.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs and API integration.
- Experience with HTML5, CSS3 and responsive UI development.
- Knowledge of authentication and security best practices.
- Experience working with Git and modern Dev Ops workflows.
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles and design patterns.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Desirable
- Experience developing applications within Databricks.
- Experience using Databricks Apps or related Databricks application tooling.
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred).

- Experience integrating with data platforms and analytics solutions.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code.
