Exciting Reinsurance Director Opportunity

Clarence George is currently working with a Bermudian reinsurer who is looking for a qualified life actuary to join their Actuarial Reporting Team.

Role/Team:

• This role will sit in the Actuarial Reporting team, overseeing actuarial associates, and report into the Vice President.
• This person will play a critical role in ensuring the success of the Actuarial team by performing numerous tasks including valuation, inforce management, modelling, and risk and capital management.

Profile:

• ASA or FSA qualification or equivalent with 5+ years’ experience in life re(insurance).
• Strong Moody’s Axis skills are required to be able to produce and explain necessary projections.
• Knowledge of US GAAP, US Stat, Bermuda EBS and BSCR, RBC, and Solvency II is desirable but not essential.
• Experience and working knowledge of annuities (FDA’s, FIA’s, PA’s) is preferred.
