Independent consultancy seeks a part-qualified pensions actuary with commercial and economic awareness to support its delivery of imaginative and effective solutions to a wide-ranging and diverse client base.

In this exciting career development opportunity, you will perform actuarial and technical calculations for SSASs and SIPPS, DB SSASs and group pension arrangements. You will also assist with actuarial calculations and advice to individuals, including pension aspects of divorce, assessment of interests under Trusts and pension consultancy.

In addition, you will develop technical knowledge of the UK pensions framework, pension products, HMRC rules, regulation and legislation and keep up-to-date with changes.

Intelligent, numerate and with excellent communication skills, the successful candidate will possess strong IT skills, use of Excel and other Microsoft Office software. Programming experience is desirable and full study support will be provided.
