A growing and innovative pensions consultancy is looking to hire an Actuarial Analyst to join its expanding actuarial team. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career actuary to gain broad exposure across pensions consulting, actuarial modelling and client advisory work while working closely with experienced consultants and senior leaders.

About the Role

  • Support the delivery of actuarial advice to pension schemes, trustees and sponsoring employers
  • Perform actuarial calculations, modelling and data analysis
  • Draft client reports, presentations and recommendations
  • Attend client meetings and develop consulting skills
  • Assess the impact of legislative, demographic and market changes on pension schemes
  • Contribute to internal projects and process improvements

About You

  • Strong academic background with a degree in a numerate subject
  • Experience within pensions or actuarial work is advantageous
  • Understanding of UK Defined Benefit pension schemes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Proactive, curious and eager to develop professionally
