MERJE are working with a Life Insurer who are looking to add a Part Qualified Actuary to their Actuarial function - mainly focusing on Capital and Valuation work. You'll be supporting the senior Actuaries in carrying out Valuations responsibilities amongst other Capital and Reporting related tasks. Due to being in a smaller insurance company, you will likely gain broader exposure whilst complementing this with your exam progress.

Responsibilities

  • Support the senior Actuaries in Valuation responsibilities and other Capital and Reporting related tasks.

Qualifications

  • Part Qualified Actuary; roughly halfway through exams, with flexibility on timing to fit budget and demonstrated the right behaviours.
  • Foundational experience in Life Insurance, either as part of a rotation programme or working in a relevant Capital/Reporting/Valuations function.
  • Consideration may be given to candidates from Pensions or General Insurance (GI).

Visa sponsorship cannot be provided. All applicants must have ILR or permanent right to work in the UK if they are non-UK citizens.
