What will your role look like?
Our clients’ Defined Contribution Consulting (DCC) Business Unit sits at the heart of their consulting services and is recognised as a UK market leader. We’re delighted to work with them to help procure a dynamic Senior DC Investment Consultant to join their high‑performing team. Though this is a varied role, your key tasks will include:
- Providing high-quality, tailored investment advice to trustee and corporate clients, drawing on strategic insight and innovative thinking.
- Managing a portfolio of clients, nurturing relationships and ensuring their needs are met with clarity and confidence.
- Playing an active role in new business activity; contributing ideas, developing tenders, preparing pitches and presenting as part of the team.
- Helping raise the profile of the DCC team and the wider business through networking and speaking opportunities at industry events.
- Supporting the development of their consulting capability by coaching and mentoring colleagues.
- Upholding the Firm’s professional standards, as well as those of any relevant professional bodies.
To enjoy and succeed in this role, you will have:
Skills & Experience
- Experience working within the pensions industry.
- Knowledge of the DC market, covering areas such as auto‑enrolment, Chair’s Statements, disclosure requirements, Statements of Investment Principles and private market investments.
- A track record of providing investment advice to corporate and/or trustee clients.
- Confidence using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of DC providers’ investment strategies (advantageous).
- Experience of advising on AVC arrangements (advantageous).
Qualifications
- Likely to be FFA/FIA or CFA qualified, or otherwise appropriately authorised to provide investment advice.
