We're delighted to work with them to help procure a dynamic Senior DC Investment Consultant to join their high‐performing team. They're a progressive organisation, where they want you to thrive and you'll be supported by a culture that is friendly, partnering, straight‐forward and confident.

You can be based from any of their multiple UK offices and enjoy the flexibility of hybrid working. This role offers the best of both worlds: the wellbeing benefits of working from home and the energy of a sociable, modern office environment.

Though this is a varied role, your key tasks will include:

  • Providing high-quality, tailored investment advice to trustee and corporate clients, drawing on strategic insight and innovative thinking.
  • Managing a portfolio of clients, nurturing relationships and ensuring their needs are met with clarity and confidence.
  • Playing an active role in new business activity; contributing ideas, developing tenders, preparing pitches and presenting as part of the team.
  • Helping raise the profile of the DCC team and the wider business through networking and speaking opportunities at industry events.
  • Supporting the development of their consulting capability by coaching and mentoring colleagues.
  • Upholding the Firm's professional standards, as well as those of any relevant professional bodies.

To enjoy and succeed in this role, you will have:

Skills & Experience
  • Experience working within the pensions industry.
  • Knowledge of the DC market, covering areas such as auto‐enrolment, Chair's Statements, disclosure requirements, Statements of Investment Principles and private market investments.
  • A track record of providing investment advice to corporate and/or trustee clients.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of DC providers' investment strategies (advantageous).
  • Experience of advising on AVC arrangements (advantageous).
Qualifications
  • Likely to be FFA/FIA or CFA qualified, or otherwise appropriately authorised to provide investment advice.
Personal Qualities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to consult, build relationships and influence effectively.
  • A flexible, proactive and innovative mindset.
  • Strong analytical ability.
  • Effective project management and multi‐tasking skills.
  • A collaborative approach, combined with confidence to work independently.
  • Leadership qualities, both in role-modelling behaviours and contributing creative ideas.
  • The ability to engage, motivate and bring people with you.

They would also encourage applications from candidates who perhaps do not possess all the attributes and experience listed above but are competent with the majority and would be able to quickly develop the additional skills and experience required in post with their full support. We would also love to hear about other knowledge and experience you may have that is not listed but could be of interest.

In addition to a competitive salary and access to a profit share scheme, they offer:

  • A flexible selection of employee benefits, so you can choose a package that best matches your lifestyle and needs.
  • A collaborative and encouraging work environment where your thinking and ideas are encouraged.
  • On site mental health and wellbeing assistance.
  • A commitment to helping you develop both personally and professionally, with mentoring opportunities and access to our award-winning learning portal, Aspire.
  • Regular social activities, in addition to three days paid volunteering leave each year and a day's leave to celebrate your birthday.
  • Hybrid working so you can enjoy the positive wellbeing of working from home as well as the benefits of meeting colleagues in their sociable, modern office environments – with the expectation of two 'in-office' days per week.
  • A flexible working window, allowing colleagues the freedom to work flexibly between the hours of 7am and 7pm.
