We are seeking a passionate and skilled Yoga Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various yoga styles and a genuine enthusiasm for teaching and inspiring students of all ages. This role involves creating engaging lesson plans, fostering a positive learning environment, and helping students develop their yoga skills while promoting creativity and self-expression. This position is to teach an after-school yoga club at a school based in Birmingham, B15. It will take place on a weekly basis, term time only, on Monday or Tuesday from 3:15pm to 4:15pm.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver dynamic yoga classes tailored to different skill levels and age groups.
- Teach various yoga styles, ensuring students understand techniques, choreography, and performance skills.
- Create a supportive and encouraging atmosphere that motivates students to reach their full potential.
- Provide constructive feedback to students to enhance their technique and performance.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Yoga Instructor or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong proficiency in yoga.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and inspire students.
- An enhanced DBS check within the last 12 months or willingness to have a new one processed.
