Working closely with the Headteacher, the successful candidate will play a central role in driving school improvement, developing colleagues, raising achievement and maintaining the high expectations that enable pupils and staff alike to thrive.
- Support the Headteacher in leading school improvement, strategic planning and the ongoing development of the academy.
- Lead, motivate and line manage staff, fostering high performance and professional growth.
- Monitor and improve the quality of teaching, learning and assessment across the school.
- Use pupil achievement data to evaluate progress, raise standards and support effective intervention.
- Undertake DSL or Deputy DSL responsibilities as required and assume leadership of the school in the Headteacher's absence.
