Chesterton Primary School is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Class Teacher to join our supportive and forward-thinking team. Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver well-structured, engaging lessons in line with the academy's curriculum and schemes of work.
- Assess, monitor and report on pupil progress, using assessment effectively to inform teaching.
- Adapt teaching to meet the strengths and needs of all pupils.
- Set high expectations that motivate, challenge and inspire learners.
- Promote good progress and positive outcomes for all pupils.
- Demonstrate strong subject and curriculum knowledge.
- Support pupils in preparation for external assessments where appropriate.
Whole-Academy Contribution
- Contribute to the development and implementation of academy policies and procedures.
- Make a positive contribution to the wider life, ethos and values of the academy.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum development and pupil outcomes.
- Provide cover in unforeseen circumstances when required.
