As the Intelligence Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of experienced intelligence analysts. The Intelligence Team provides a fraud prevention service through counter fraud screening, intelligence reports, and administration of counter fraud databases. The Intelligence Team collaborates with the wider industry to process and circulate intelligence from the Insurance Fraud Bureau, law enforcement, and other organisations within the insurance and financial sector.
Location: Liverpool with hybrid working
Working hours: 37.5 hours a week - Monday to Friday, 9am to 5:30pm
Salary: £36,000 to £42,000 plus an achievable annual bonus of £2500, paid quarterly
What you will be doing:
- Lead the intelligence analysts to deliver objectives of the intelligence team
- Develop and track KPI’s, objectives, audits, monthly 1-2-1’s, and appraisals
- Lead and facilitate the analysis and interpretation of complex data sets extracted from claims, underwriting and counter-fraud databases
- Produce data dashboards, graphs and visualisations which can be clearly interpreted by the wider business and shared with stakeholders/senior management
- Facilitate the detection, investigation, and dissemination of open-source and counter-fraud intelligence
- Contribute to the continued improvement of counter fraud products
- Facilitate the ongoing development of counter-fraud intelligence sources and industry relationships
- Build and develop an understanding of the fraud landscape and develop counter-fraud measures accordingly
- Lead the promotion of data integrity across the business
What we’re looking for:
- One year of experience in counter fraud or intelligence
- Exposure to motor insurance policies / claims
- Great communication and people skills with the ability to influence change
- The ability to develop and drive performance through KPI’s, audits’ and objectives
- The ability to develop internal and external relationships
- Awareness and understanding of financial crime legislations and regulatory compliance
- Good understanding of the following intelligence lead risk avoidance databases; SIRA, IFB, CIFAS and/or other similar platforms
- Exposure to counter fraud databases such as SIRA would be beneficial
