We are actively recruiting a knowledgeable and dedicated Tax Specialist to join a thriving, modern accountancy practice based in Central London. This is a great opportunity for a CTA qualified tax professional to join a firm where client and employee happiness is equally paramount.
Main duties will include:
- Handle the compliance aspects of client affairs, with a focus on personal tax affairs
- Provide a range of advisory services that include: personal tax, capital gains tax, inheritance tax and trusts
- Deliver proactive tax planning and advisory services to help clients optimise their tax positions
- Research complex tax issues and provide practical, solutions-focused advice
- Liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients, resolving enquiries and disputes efficiently
- Stay up-to-date with the latest tax legislation to ensure compliance for all clients
What you bring to the table:
- You have a thirst for knowledge and a proactive way of working
- Tax is your speciality and you know how to get things done well and efficiently, all while providing excellent customer service
- CTA qualified with experience working in a UK accounting firm
- Strong working knowledge of accounting and tax software
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage several projects at any one time
- Strong initiative and solution-based thinking
- Flexible, personable and diplomatic in your approach
- Experience looking after a portfolio of legal clients is advantageous but not mandatory
Salary: up to £70,000 - please note this is the full time equivalent salary
Remote - UK based
