Are you an experienced and highly motivated Accountant looking for an exciting new role with the opportunity to manage your own client portfolio?
Our client is a reputable and growing accounting practice dedicated to providing exceptional services to clients. The team is committed to accuracy, professionalism, and client satisfaction.
As a member of our small and highly valued team, you\’ll play a pivotal role in growing the practice by building relationships and providing an exceptional client service.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, accounts preparation, standard tax planning and advice, reviewing VAT returns and corresponding with clients. You will be expected to manage your own workload and work closely with the Senior manager and Partner to develop your skills in order to progress your role within the practice.
What are we looking for
- You must have experience working within a general accountancy practice, working with clients varying in both size and sector
- ACCA or ICAEW qualified
- A thorough understanding of the fundamental principles underpinning bookkeeping, accounts and tax and a good knowledge of compliance.
- Proficiency in accountancy and office software (e.g. Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, Excel, Outlook etc.)
- You are keen to provide an outstanding and professional service to our clients ensuring exceptional advice and maximum added value
- You are used to taking ownership of your work and demonstrating a proactive approach with strong commercial awareness
- A positive team player and an excellent communicator both with clients and colleagues
