We are actively recruiting for an experienced Tax Senior to join a highly skilled, boutique client based in Scotland. This role is ideal for someone with strong UK personal tax experience, who thrives in a smaller firm and is comfortable working from home.

Main duties will include:

  • Handle the compliance aspects of client affairs, with a focus on personal tax affairs.
  • Provide a range of advisory services that include personal tax, capital gains tax, inheritance tax and trusts.
  • Research complex tax issues and provide practical, solutions-focused advice.
  • Liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients, resolving enquiries and disputes efficiently.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest tax legislation to ensure compliance for all clients.

Role Requirements:

  • ATT / CTA qualified with strong private client experience in a practice environment.
  • Proven experience in personal tax roles, with a strong understanding of UK tax legislation - bonus if you have knowledge of US taxation.
  • Highly organised individual with excellent time management skills.

Type: Permanent, part time 2 days a week with the view to grow your hours in time if desired.

Location: Scotland - remote.

Salary: Up to Β£45,000 FTE salary.
