Absolutely mega role – Commercial Finance Director / Senior Business Partner (to the MD). Up to £100k level + Benefits. Manchester 1 or max 2 days per week (agile hybrid working). This is one for the truly commercial qualified finance audience! Your role is out in the business rather than in central finance. You'll be Commercial FD for a thriving and rapid growth division of an international group. There's bags of exciting change, investment and expansion underway. Your role is partnering the MD.
"Where are the clear levers of growth, profit, margin... how do we maximise the incredible opportunities available and how do we manage that journey of change". It's big picture stuff but then translating that to real world actions. Business planning, forecasting, interrogating pipeline and tenders, drilling into utilisation and labour costs, understanding project and customer profitability, exploring new markets and competitor activity, driving growth. This is for a bona fide commercial business partner. Someone who can present and influence to a boardroom. Someone with real awareness and natural gravitas. An ambitious senior finance business partner who can link the numbers to real world action plans and strategies.
You will need to be: Currently able to demonstrate ability to influence decision making and navigate change/growth Operating at Commercial FD / Head of Finance / Senior Business Partner level. Someone with a passion for business and using MI to influence direction and decision making. You can have a massive impact here. Great role for an ambitious and driven finance person with the benefit of high levels of remote working. Manchester 1 or 2 days per week so you are probably based in the North West.
