Job Description Financial Controller | Urmston Manchester | £70,000 - £80,000 + benefits You’re joining an interesting investor-backed SME amid a period of significant investment and change. You’re joining an acquisitive group with ambitious owners who expect to do additional acquisitions. Step one is an overhaul of the current controls and reporting pack – getting month end slick and developing / coaching the squad to ensure processes are efficient and the board pack is accurate. You’ll then get stuck into working with the business to drive improvements, potential (likely) M&A processes, bringing new businesses across, enhancing the MI and commercial insights… Be a proactive Finance Manager / FC (or maybe financial accountant) with ambition, natural proactivity and drive. Have completed CIMA, ACCA or ACA (perhaps 1-5 years PQE). Have excellent core accounting skills from either practice or industry. Be someone who has experience of coaching and developing a small team and enhancing processes / ensuring month end is streamlined and effective.
