This is an interesting manufacturing SME (£10m turnover) amid a period of change and transformation. The CEO is looking for a seasoned, proactive and diligent Finance Manager / FC to join them on a permanent basis. There has been lots going on – plenty of ongoing investment in stabilisation and growth.

Your role is vital – overhauling the existing financial processes and controls, driving rigor into the financial accounting and monthly reporting for the group. Providing timely and reliable insights for the SLT and Directors. It’s a hands-on position (managing 2 clerks) and you need to be someone who is comfortable rolling up sleeves and getting into the nitty gritty.

It’s a chance to put your stamp on the finance function and build from the ‘bottom up’. You’ll enjoy lots of variety and autonomy – it’s a grown up setting and you will be working with a pragmatic, experienced and professional CEO.

The role is involved in all aspects of the day to day financial reporting and management for the business – management accounting, balance sheet integrity, cash management and reporting, forecasting. You’ll be adding heaps of value in an agile small business on a growth trajectory.
