Interim FP&A Analyst

Interim FP&A Analyst / FP&A Accountant | Chesterfield | £400 – £500 / day

The Opportunity

Tech-led business amid a period of exciting growth and transformation have a newly created and immediate need for a qualified FP&A professional.

The role sits alongside central finance and is completely focused on FP&A – largely remote working (perhaps 1 day per week office based).

The remit surrounds driving MI and insights – enhancing the existing pack and driving forward with financial modelling, sophisticated budgeting and forecasting, investment appraisal, planning, business partnering.

It’s a hands on role and you need to be comfortable drilling into the data and improving modelling / reporting where necessary.

It’s a superb interim project in an excellent business – a professional and rapid growth group delivering impressive results.

There’s plenty to get stuck into and lots of value to add.

You’ll be working with a talented, approachable and supportive leadership team (both in finance and the wider business).

Required:

• Extensive experience and understanding of FP&A.
• Excellent analytical skills (advanced Excel is naturally a must).
• Ability to apply common sense and great communication skills in order to get behind the numbers and tease out useful insights, forecasts, trends, risks, opportunities etc.
• Financial modelling ability.
• Confidence working remotely (meeting colleagues on Teams etc)
• Immediate start – initial assignment 3 – 4 months with high likelihood of extension.
