Are you a confident accountancy and finance graduate (or equivalent) looking to join a rapid growth professional business in Lancashire? This is an exciting newly created role within the commercial finance / business partnering team.
Your role focuses on added value analysis coupled with some routine core management accounting – a hugely valuable blend for anyone looking to progress through ACCA or CIMA. You’ll be able to work with non-finance colleagues from the outset – discussing MI and data with the business leaders / department heads to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
There is tons of data flowing through the business – from sales, marketing, promotional activities, operational areas, central support functions. You’ll have the chance to slice and dice some of that info and produce meaningful and insightful summaries for the group.
You might be looking into which promotions work most effectively, how products are performing by customer, by region, by category. You might be shining a light on the operational KPIs, maybe drilling into forecasted costs versus actual spend.
You’ll spend some time at your desk – in Excel or Power BI, but you’ll also bring those numbers to life by getting out into the business.
