Growing, multi-site SME based in Doncaster have an opportunity for an experienced Finance Business Partner to join their team, amidst a period of fast paced growth and expansion. As a Finance Business Partner, you will act as the key link between finance and operations, ensuring reporting is accurate, timely, meaningful and actionable. You’ll play a hands‑on role in supporting performance, influencing decision‑making, and helping non‑finance colleagues to better understand the numbers behind their operations. You will work closely with operational teams and senior leadership, driving financial performance and supporting strategic decision‑making. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys working closely with operations and making a tangible impact on business performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Building strong working relationships with operational leaders and supporting functions
  • Being the “go‑to” finance contact for site managers
  • Providing guidance on budgets, cost control, and financial performance
  • Producing weekly reporting
  • Improving cost efficiencies
  • Producing regular P&L reports at service level
  • Identifying trends, risks and opportunities to improve performance
  • Supporting senior leadership reporting and insight
  • Continuously improving financial processes and reporting tools
  • Contributing to the development of dashboards and performance tracking

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Relevant degree in Finance, Accounting or similar
  • AAT qualified or studying towards CIMA/ACCA (preferred)
  • Experience in finance, analyst or business partner role
  • Ideally have experience in a multi‑site or operational environment
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • A commercial mindset with the ability to translate data into insight
  • Be a confident communicator with non‑financial audiences
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with finance systems (e.g. Sage)
  • Exposure to PowerBI or similar would be highly desirable
