About you:

You enjoy building trusted relationships and working closely with senior leaders. You like understanding what matters to councils and helping them get more value from the technology they rely on every day. You take a long‐term view, balancing commercial outcomes with doing the right thing for customers. You’re comfortable owning your accounts end to end and working with people across Access to deliver a joined‐up experience. You’re happy working remotely, travelling when needed, and building strong partnerships across Scotland.

Day to day, you will:

  • Own and grow a portfolio of strategic Scottish local authority customers, acting as their trusted commercial partner.
  • Build and lead clear account plans, shaped around council priorities, budgets and service pressures.
  • Lead renewal and contract conversations, clearly explaining value and identifying opportunities to grow existing relationships.
  • Work closely with customer success and solution specialists to support adoption and resolve issues quickly.

Your skills and experiences might also include:

  • Experience working with or selling into Scottish local government or public sector organisations.
  • Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders, including directors and heads of service.
  • Experience selling software or Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions in complex environments.
  • An understanding of social care, commissioning or wider local government services in Scotland.
