About you: You’re a collaborative team player with a passion for delivering an exceptional experience to newly acquired employees. Working within the ES Acquisitions and Change team, you’ll thrive as a trusted adviser to leaders, helping them develop best-practice leadership skills. You’re proactive, solutions-focused, and committed to continuous improvement—always looking for ways to make things better every day.

You bring strong experience in employee relations case management, a solid understanding of UK employment law (including TUPE), and a genuine interest in employee engagement. You’re equally curious about expanding and developing your knowledge of international employment law to support global integration and best practices. You enjoy working in a truly global team, partnering across regions to deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes. You know how to drive high performance through people and leaders, and you enjoy working on projects that make a real impact.

Day-to-day responsibilities:

  • Lead acquisition due diligence and integration support - Conduct thorough risk assessments for new acquisitions, make strategic recommendations for mitigation, and collaborate with legal counsel on complex UK and European employment matters whilst deputising for the ES Programme Lead when required.
  • Drive employee relations and leadership development - Provide expert guidance on performance, absence, grievance, redundancy and disciplinary matters, whilst coaching leaders to build capability and confidence in managing people effectively, including upskilling new team members.
  • Manage harmonisation and onboarding programmes - Partner with HR specialists to harmonise employment contracts, lead engagement initiatives for newly acquired employees, and participate in All-Hands communications to support successful integration.
  • Deliver strategic insights and continuous improvement - Design and deliver practical workshops, analyse trends to produce actionable reports, maintain compliance documentation, and actively seek feedback to drive continuous improvement across all integration processes.

Your skills and experiences might also include:

  • Proven HR expertise with strong employee relations focus - Currently operating at HR Adviser level in fast-paced environments (ideally technology) with hands-on generalist HR background and excellent judgment in managing multiple priorities.
  • Comprehensive employment law knowledge - In-depth understanding of UK employment law and TUPE regulations, with willingness to develop international employment law expertise for global operations.
  • Adaptable and resilient professional - Comfortable navigating ambiguity and change whilst maintaining high performance standards, with full driving licence and willingness to travel as required.
  • Tech-savvy collaborative team player - Excellent IT skills including MS Office and AI tools, combined with proactive, energetic approach and strong collaboration skills that thrive in global environments.
