About you:As a Senior Commercial Manager, you bring strong business acumen, a customer-centric mindset, and the confidence to present to all levels, including C-suite. You drive commercial, sales, and pipeline initiatives that support NRR and GRR, using adoption insights and strong analytical skills to identify new opportunities. You communicate customer requirements clearly, generate commercially sound ideas, and lead teams to deliver adoption-focused outcomes. You understand Access IP and comparable third-party products, build strong relationships, resolve challenges diplomatically, and respond quickly to customers. You draft clear, high-quality agreements, provide excellent service and technical expertise, stay ahead of cloud, SaaS, and data-retention requirements, and bring a proactive, detail-driven approach supported by strong Excel skills.
Day-to-day you will:- Collaborate with the leadership team of your assigned software company and division Board Members, participating in regular leadership meetings.
- Develop and oversee commercial initiatives that align customer adoption with strategic objectives, supporting both NRR and GRR.
- Lead the wider team to deliver adoption-led projects and ensure all commercial objectives are met.
- Present confidently and persuasively to internal and external stakeholders, including large groups both in person and digitally.
- Provide accurate forecasts within a 5% tolerance and attend customer meetings both online and onsite.
- Identify improvements across adoption reporting and clearly communicate data requirements to support commercial outcomes.
- Develop, own, and manage cross-functional programmes with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success.
- Take accountability for all targets linked to your assigned software company.
- Attend an Access office at least two days per week to support collaboration, networking, and customer engagement.
- Communicate clearly and concisely with customers, both verbally and in writing.
