What You'll Be Working On:

You'll service and repair boom lifts, scissor lifts, telehandlers, forklifts, lighting towers and diesel generators. You'll gain experience working on premium brands including Genie, JLG, Haulotte, Skyjack, Snorkel, Niftylift, Merlo, Manitou, JCB and Dingli.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults
  • Service and repair powered access equipment
  • Perform preventative maintenance
  • Complete pre-delivery inspections
  • Attend field service breakdowns
  • Complete service documentation
  • Deliver excellent customer service
  • Maintain safe work practices

About You

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Powered Access Engineer, MEWP Engineer, Mobile Service Engineer, Plant Engineer or similar
  • Strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical diagnostic skills
  • Experience working on boom lifts, scissor lifts, telehandlers or forklifts
  • Experience with Genie, JLG, Haulotte, Skyjack, Snorkel, Merlo or similar equipment
  • Relevant trade qualifications
  • Good English communication skills
  • A strong commitment to safety
  • Forklift certificate / IPAF licence / PAL card desirable but not essential
  • Experience working on heavy plant, construction equipment or material handling equipment is also highly regarded
