Day‑to‑day, you will:

  • Contract Review and Management: Assist in the drafting, reviewing, and management of contracts to ensure legal soundness and compliance with company policies.
  • Intellectual Property Infringement: Support our compliance team articulate licence and intellectual property infringement matters clearly and effectively, in order to negotiate the right outcome.
  • Employee Success Support: Provide legal support to our Employee Success team on employment‑related issues and initiatives from time to time.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Assist in ensuring the company adheres to applicable regulations, including those relevant to the Access Group as a whole.
  • Access PaySuite Support: Support our regulated limb of the Access Group, Access PaySuite, with legal matters to ensure regulatory compliance and smooth operations.
  • Internal Legal Assessments: Provide legal assessments and guidance to our internal customer success teams on various matters as requested, ensuring clarity and compliance.
  • Guide External Consultants: Assist our external consultants on Property and Intellectual Property (IP) matters, ensuring compliance and protecting the company's interests.
  • Legal Research: Conduct legal research to support various projects and initiatives, providing accurate and timely information to internal stakeholders.

Your skills and experiences might also include:

  • A degree in law or a related field, or relevant legal qualifications.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex legal documents and regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with various stakeholders.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A proactive and adaptable approach, with a willingness to lean in and work as part of an enthusiastic and supportive team.
  • Enjoyment from working in a team and being a team player, with a collaborative mindset.
