About you: You're a confident and trusted employee relations expert who enjoys solving complex problems and making a real difference. You're comfortable working autonomously, using your judgement to balance risk, business needs and the employee experience. You like building strong relationships with leaders and helping them navigate challenging situations with clarity and confidence. At Access, we'll support your development, trust you to take the lead, and give you space to improve how we do things when you spot a better way.

Day-to-day, you will:

  • Lead on the most complex and high-risk employee relations cases, including investigations, disciplinaries, grievances, long-term absence, restructures and employment tribunals, making sure outcomes are fair, timely and legally sound.
  • Act as a trusted adviser to senior leaders, providing clear, practical guidance on sensitive employee issues across the UK, Ireland and other regions.
  • Spot risks early and work closely with senior employee relations leadership and legal partners to protect the business, our people and our culture.
  • Support and coach other employee relations advisers, sharing your expertise and helping raise capability across the wider team.

Your skills and experiences might also include:

  • Experience supporting employee relations activity across multiple countries with different employment laws and practices.
  • Involvement in large-scale change programmes, such as restructures, reorganisations or business transformation.
  • Experience designing or delivering training for managers to improve confidence in handling people issues.
  • An interest in using data and trends to improve employee relations processes and the overall employee experience.
