About you:
You\’re an experienced data protection professional who can hit the ground running and drive meaningful change from day one. You bring deep expertise in privacy regulations and the ability to translate complex compliance requirements into practical, scalable solutions.
You have extensive knowledge of UK GDPR, EU GDPR and PECR, with proven experience implementing and continually improving data protection frameworks in dynamic technology environments. You thrive on autonomy, can navigate ambiguity, and have the gravitas to influence stakeholders across all levels of the organisation. You combine technical expertise with business acumen, balancing compliance requirements with commercial objectives.
Responsibilities
- Lead the evolution of Access\’s data protection compliance framework, identifying gaps and driving strategic improvements across global operations
- Design and implement comprehensive risk assessment processes, proactively identifying and mitigating data protection risks before they impact the business
- Take ownership of complex Data Subject Rights cases and develop streamlined processes that scale with rapid growth
- Act as the go-to data protection expert for business units, providing authoritative guidance on privacy-by-design and compliance strategies
- Drive cross-functional initiatives to embed data protection best practices into product development, sales processes, and operational workflows
Qualifications
- Experience leading data protection initiatives in high-growth SaaS or technology companies
- Professional data protection certifications (CIPP, CIPM, or equivalent)
- Track record of managing complex privacy impact assessments and regulatory interactions
- Experience with privacy-by-design implementation in software development environments
