Please note this role is Monday to Friday 7am-3pm on site at our Loughborough Office.

About you:

You care about doing things properly and understand how important cleanliness, safety and teamwork are in a kitchen environment.

Day-to-day, you will:

  • Keep the kitchen clean, safe and well organised, including work surfaces, floors and equipment.
  • Carry out pot wash duties, making sure all crockery, utensils and cookware are cleaned, sanitised and put away correctly.
  • Support the wider kitchen team with stock checks, deliveries and basic food preparation when needed.
  • Provide friendly, professional service to customers and work as part of the team to keep things running smoothly, especially at busy times.

Your skills and experiences might also include:

  • Experience working in a kitchen, catering or food service environment.
  • An understanding of food safety and hygiene standards, or a willingness to learn, including Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) systems.
  • Confidence following health and safety procedures and reporting any issues to keep everyone safe.
  • A positive, team-focused attitude and a flexible approach to daily tasks.
